Of course duty always got in the way of any sort of life I wanted to have. Even though I never liked Buffy much part of me could understand her at times now. Never had this sort of power before so didn’t understand the responsibility that came along with it. I wanted to just be able to spend the night with Willow. Just talking to her and being with ( Read more... )

Just as I finally got the stick thingy to work, Kennedy jumped into the car. The car shot forward a bit making me cringe and give Ken an apologetic look. “Sorry,” I muttered, fighting with the shift gear again. Why the hey did we get a car with the sticky thing anyway? What’s wrong with automatic! This had to be a Giles thing. I didn’t know how to drive these really! I only had one lesson and that one had been from Spike. So yeah, not with the knowing here ( ... )

I quickly jumped into the car. It really seemed like she was in a hurry or some sort. Something bad had to have happened. "Don't need to apologize" I knew she wasn't so good with the stick shift sort of car. I knew my baby well and that was one of those things. I wasn't a big fan of driving stick either but that was what we had, guess you have to do the best with it.

"A ghost?" I give her a look. I've heard about a lot of things in my time and fought a good amount to but a ghost. Usually just demons and vampires and stuff like that. "So what do you have to do some sort of exorcism?"

If that was the case then I knew she was just the right woman to do such. Ok so she wasn't a priest or anything which I thought that’s how they did it but she was the most powerful woman I've ever seen.

I couldn't help but giggle a bit with how she acted when the guy give her the finger. She looked so cute as she made a little pouty face. It was just another thing that I was loving about her.

Weaving my way through traffic and fighting with the friggen shift…stick…thing, I glanced over at Kennedy. I had no idea where she’d gotten off to, but I was glad she was coming with me to this…wherever. Whatever. House. Ghost. Something. Some of the cars kept showing of their horns, and I jumped every time one of them blared. Geeze! They were making me nervous! This is like totally worse then LA ( ... )

"Back up a minute. Cordy was the one that used to go to school with you then moved out with Buffy's vampire boyfriend?" Even though I heard a good amount of story about there good old days I still didn't get all the names and facts down. Didn't completely care about hearing about Buffy's glory days. Sure, I liked hearing about my Willow's memories but all it seemed to do was make Buffy look like some sort of saint for how many times she saved the world. Any of us slayers could've done the same if it was us instead ( ... )
