I haven't written in a while.  I think it's mostly because I've been feeling bored with life....a little let down with myself.  I'm not where I want to be.  I'm not doing what I want to be doing.  And I don't know how to get there ( Read more... )

Crazy? yes.
Genius? Hopefully.
Silly? Absolutely not.

I do say good luck in whatever you choose to do.
I would not want to go back to school for all the cheese in the moon.

I'm so glad I have all that behind me.
I wouldn't have the energy to do any more school in my life.
But maybe you do... and for that I wish you success. Complete success!!

psych degrees are free (AND pay a stipend), if you go for a PhD.

what you do is apply for the PhD, get in, go for free, get a non-terminal Master's, then quit. (that is, if by that time you still think it's too long)

If you're crazy, I'm crazier. I'm going back to school in the fall to start working on my physical therapy degree. While you're looking at 1-2, I'll be going 5-8. I'd say go for it. Although in my case, since I'm old enough to not have to claim my parents income, and I'm so damn poor, college is free. Once you hit the 24 year old mark, you stop claiming your parents, and get aid based on your own income.

Hmm good to know, since I wouldn't be going back until next year, when I'll be 25. How does that work, exactly? Is it financial aid through the school or the state, or scholarships?

And....HI!! :) Haven't heard from you in forever. Where are you going to school?
