I hope this means paint splatters as opposed to poo splatters.

I have neither paint nor poo splatters. I have mystery stains, dead bugs in the staircase of my building, and bizarre remnants of the former dentist's office that was my apartment ie Why is there a lump in the middle of the carpet? Then there's the fact that I don't quite understand the culture in my neighborhood so occasionally someone will do something that I'm sure makes sense to them but to me it just looks like performance art.

Ah. Sounds like every place I ever lived in in New York, pretty much. I understand now. Is it at least kind of cool to live not with the folks?

Yeah, I'm ok with living in an art installation. After all, so much of my life is performance art!
