i have more trouble with the automated hand dryers.
we have the sinks AND the dryers at my work (thank god there's no auto-flush toilets, too!)

I think the dryers are even worse than the sinks! Though from experience I can totally agree about the dispensers. They suck ass. But hey, it's all germ-free! ...though I don't really care about germs. So they suck.

I agree with everything. I hate all the automated machines. The whole bathroom facility at the PEN is automated. You don't have to touch anything. Not to flush, not to turn water on, not to turn water off...

But really, I'm not getting water by waving my hands around under the faucet or even just holding them there...in front of the sensormatic thingie...so I'd rather be able to twist the damn handle.

You've brought up a very nagging issue, which I should have posted about long ago. Well done.

even worse is when you finally get the automated sink to work, and the soap dispenser is empty, which it ALWAys seems to be. the automated FOAM dispensers are just horrific.... i hate the consistency of foam, ick. so geoff- are you gonna be in rochester between Oct. 20-24? Because I, Miss Dana VanDemark, am finally getting my ass back from California to visit for a while, and I would LOOOOVE to see you and catch up!!! CALL ME.
