Bella slipped in the door and called out in a soft voice, "Dear one, as loath as I am to inhibit your genuis, you are far and above better company than the others." She walked next to Severus and was going to ask, but decided it would probably be over her head. Bella could hold her own against other seventh years, but Severus was a genius.
"So, Severus my genius dear, what may I offer as suitable worship for your fine mind?" Her smile was, for a moment, sincere.
Severus warded the door behind Bella, turning his head to give her a quick kiss in greeting before returning his gaze to the cauldron.
"Your company is always welcome." He gave her a rare smile. "And of course, so are gifts and ritual sacrifice." His eyebrow quirked upwards, the only sign of his mirth.
Bella laughed lightly. "Well, dear I can offer my charms and perhaps a firstie bound and ready for you to experiment on." She had an evil grin. "I love that the little snakelings fear us."
"I do so love the way you think." He picked Bella up, literally sweeping her of her feet and setting her upon one of the benches, wedging himself between her legs and ravishing her neck.
