Creepy HP Fanfic For The Day
Apparently, somone (livvy6) thought it would be a good idea to write a story called Reflection.
Plot?
Lily Lena Potter, (virgin) daughter of Harry Potter and granddaughter of Lily Evans, grows up obsessed - really obsessed - with Severus Snape. Harry Potter, sensitive soul that he is, eventually get a touch creeped out and tells her to drop her obsession, because Snape really was a total bastard. The Young Miss Potter is infuriated, and runs away. Gets a flat, and stumbles upon poor old Severus Snape, who'd just upped and left after the Battle of Hogwarts. Because, yeah, no one had discovered the fact that he was alive in over 20 years. The Young Miss Potter entreats Headmaster Emeritus Snape to become her friend, and oh yeah they fall in love.
Because the idea of a girl just over 20 screwing around with a guy pushing (60?) is totally cool. And yeah, it's genuine love 'cause he ups and leaves just before he's about to relieve her of her pesky virginity. So self-sacrificing.
I mean, Christ, and I thought the SSHG fics were creepy. A guy 20 years older perving on a teenager? And her former/teacher to boot?
Nothing compared to a lifelong one-sided obsession that apparently turns into 'true love' when the main character manages to run into her object of obsession who's three times her age.
How do people come up with these ideas?
