Holy crap, did I really just power through the entire first season of Dexter in less than a week?  (And Christ, the season finale is freaking awesome.)  And how had I never watched it before?  I love this kind of shit.  For some reason I always love serial killer protagonists-- and I often see them as the protagonist even in stories where they are

Mmmmmmmm... serial killers.

With my massive obsession with serial killers, I could never EVER be down with a BDSM kidnapping scene. Worst nightmare. Totally panic inducing.

One of my friends through a huge Dexter party and then at the end had a body mod artist slit his cheek open just like Dexter does to his victims for blood sampling.

Yup...we're not hardcore fans anymore =p.
