I remember it because I loved the premise and the way it progressed until about halfway, then I felt the ending was a bit of a letdown. It was "Say My Name" by Keisha7.

Someone else suggested that one (on the qaf_bunnies community) but I checked it... and that one is Randy thinking he's Justin. It also appears to be complete.

The one I'm thinking of was both Randy and Gale. They were alone in the loft when they woke up. And it was only one chapter and never finished. At least from what I remember.

I have no idea, but that premise totally reminded me of the movie Delirious and now I have the image of John Candy and Emma Samms dancing stuck in my head, along with the Prince song they used for the opening credits.

It was dreamer__m. I see you have her friended. I do too, just for that story. Alas, she's totally disappeared. Last update of the story and of her journal was Novemver of 2004. :(
