Minus the one stinker, you had a fantastic week! I have The Whisper Man either on my Kindle or in audio (I really ought to make a chart one day), so glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Unfortunately, I gave up on The Final Empire. Mostly because, yeah, he spent way too much time describing how things were set, how it would work out, how a job was going. After I found myself skimming through pages, I knew it was the end. He's a good writer, and I liked the characters, but I couldn't take anymore, especially knowing that the story continues through seven books.

Yeah, he definitely could have used a good editor. I am going to continue but I only plan to read the original trilogy at this point. I don't think it'll hold my interest beyond that.
