What I Just Finished Reading: I had a very successful work week and then spent the weekend putting up my tree and wrapping presents, so I didn't have much reading time. Two (horrible) books this week: Allergic to Death by Peg Cochran (prompt) and Tales of Old Earth by Michael Swanwick. (also prompt. Not so much with the alternating this week. LOL)

Yay for a good work week! And congrats on getting your tree up, too! I can't put a tree up because the boys destroyed mine last year. Haha.

Sorry that your books both were disappointments though.

Oh yeah, that's how it was for the 19 years that I had Cassie. I only went back to putting a full tree up last year, I think. lovely to have it back, but I'd give it up in a heartbeat to have her back.

Buddy would steal my ornaments. Sunny would climb into the tree and nap. But these two orange boys, they wrecked it. I had to throw it out even. LOL But yeah, you're mad in the moment, but you sure do miss it all when they're gone.
