My goal for 2025 is again 150 books.
This year at Goodreads I signed up for Around the Year in 52 Books challenge. I think this is my 4th year doing this challenge. The prompts are chosen and voted on at the end of the previous year. I like that there's a pretty wide range of prompts.

You always stun me with your reading goals and how much you can read in a year! I know others who can read at that level, but for me it seems so out of reach that all I can do is stand back and watch in awe! I used to read voraciously as a child and then teen, but there are too many distractions (not necessarily good ones!) these days, that 30 a year as is good as it gets for me! I don't mind in the slightest, though! I love hearing about your books all the same!
Is the Survivors book the one from around the 70s or earlier and set in Britain? I'm sure the author's name is familiar! They made a TV show of it back in the late 70s, which was very good, and tbh your description does sound more like a screenplay than a novel, which could make sense if he was more of a playwright than author!
