As I found out yesterday after some people had a word in my ear - no one was consulted and everybody has a problem with it.

I had a minor hissy fit at work yesterday and people were a little concerned. I never have hissy fits. Personally I think I'm just going to be horribly sick over christmas. I feel it coming on now.....

Jeez, that's a nasty cough you've got there...that sorta thing can hang-around for weeks...you'd better watch-out or it could mean taking a lot of time off work around Christmas/New Year. ;)

I don't mind most of the people there, and I like the stuff I do when I'm allowed to do it my way and uninterrupted. It's just that everyone's into politicking, never share information and will resort to outright bullshit at times.
So, my way of dealing with it is to (ab)use flexi-time and take a day or two off when the stress gets going. Effectively I'm a part-time/casual. They pay crap, which is compounded by the few hours I work...but it's enough to pay the rent/bills I guess...
