I should use this site to write more. Been retired for over a year and half now. Been filling in at the old job, while one of the co-worked stayed home with new baby. Been doing cooking things I have never done like making preserves and canned sauces and making my first tagine.

My back is killing me.

Could be better. My back is killing me too. About 1.5 years ago I fell at a friend's house and smashed my lower left back on the corner of an old vintage bookcase that was many inches thick. ER said it wasn't broken and I haven't been able to afford proper medical care since, but it's super painful. Bleh. Grateful for good food, wine, and music to dull the pain.
