I just brought the office to silence.

I am sick and tired of people referring to people of ethnic origins as "Wogs" and so I took a stand.

I explained to people how I find the term offensive and all they wanted to do was argue the point!

I refuse to allow passive racism to grow beyond the point of a meaningless joke.

I personally don't find that term offensive because most people I know from the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe refer to themselves as wogs and don't consider it derogatory, but to casually drop it into conversation as a derogatory term - especially when you're not from that ethnic background - is not on.

Good on you for taking a stand!
