I work in healthcare. Medicare pays me indirectly to care for one facet of the very sick and dying of the area. I work in healthcare and I can say that we do see cycles in the types of patients that get critically ill at one time. Sometimes those times are right on top of full moons, sometimes right in the middle of a blizzard, but always when we seem to be under/barely staffed. As for being super(stupid)stitious.... well that is a bit of a tricky answer. You see I work with people who are very near and absolutely dead and sometimes we see some pretty weird shit. I am not sure if they are the works of god/ the goddess/ the universe or magic but what I am very prone to explain oddities on is the power of the human brain. We allow many things to happen to us and our minds make paths that are acceptable to take even when consciousness is removed. So all in all I would have to say never discredit anything without absolute proof.
