This is not perfect by any means, but I'm just proud I finished it in time to give it to my nephew on a recent visit. It's made with remnants of cotton in a jungle print and various rainbow-colored solids and small prints, filled with polyester batting. I mainly wanted to make a quilt to see if I liked it and to use up this jungle print that I knew I'd never use for myself. It probably took me about 6 hours to complete, spread over a week or so. Some of the corners of the squares don't quite line up, but I'm sure the 2-year-old recipient didn't notice. In fact, we had fun, pointing out and naming all the animals.
