Name: Jackie Marie Joan D.....
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Years of Experience: 3 years of on and off sewing
Equipment of choice:  My Brother CS6000i
Specialties:  I haven't sewn a whole lot, but I am very skilled with tulle, and will probably start sewing petticoats on commission soon :D (look forward to it.)
Things I know that I can help you with: Sewing ruffles, sewing with tulle, and getting started.
Style(s) of choice: Lolita is primary, but I also like Elegant Gothic Aristocrat.  In Lolita I tend to go with sweet/classic, but I love military/sailor loli and country loli
How did you get into sewing lolita stuffs?:  a friend posted a picture of a dress that she wanted for some kind of graduation, and I asked for a link (this was august/september of 2008) and I fell in love with the dresses and the style.  The dress was the sweet frilled cake dress on F+F :D  I've been wanting to do more, but being a plus sized loli, and a little on the not rich side, I didn't have the money to buy expensive brands + ship.

Project Registration Form

Project Title : Petticoat I

Short Project Description: My first petticoat, I plan on making a cotton underskirt and using 3 layers of tulle to create the "poof".  My first one will be white, and it's meant to wear under my Sweet Frilled Cake Dress from FanplusFriend for church on Easter.

Projected Deadline: April 3rd, 2010 (the first Saturday in April)

Pattern(s) Used: One of my own design, with some referencing to tutorials

Materials needed: white cotton, thick tulle/netting, elastic for waistband

Challenges or obstacles :  I think the only problem I may have is getting the proper puff from the tulle.  I don't think this will be a major issue though, because I've got some good experience with working with tulle.

! introduction, * fabric motif - tulle, * fabric motif - solid
