Newbie looking for tips/advice!
Hello everyone! I've been lurking in the background of lolita fashion for quite a while, and have recently decided it is time to start assembling my first coord! I posted to EGL first for some advice, and following that I'm here to ask for more advice and some tips!
I have two blouses that I might be able to alter in order to make them lolita-appropriate. What are some suggestions? I've heard rounding the corners of the collars, changing the buttons, adding lace; what else? Also, I can do buttons and add lace, but I've never altered a collar before, so if you have any advice or links to tutorials that would be super. :)
I'm in the process of creating a "practice" JSK, as well. I say "practice" because it's a rather drab, boring grey that I already had in my fabric bin, and there are only so many ways I can dress it up. ^_^; It's also practice thanks to the fact I've oopsed several times already, but I'm writing each thing down to help me do better next time!
