Cream Fabric Help
Hello all, I'm not sure whether I should be posting this here or at Sew Lolita, as it would kind of fit with both communities, so I'll post it at both...
What I was wondering is, how do you coordinate JSKs that have a cream base colour? I'd like some photos, please, and some advice about my future sewing projects.
I'm planning on making a cream JSK from an Otome no Sewing volume 5 pattern - the slightly low-cut bodiced, "Frame JSK" if you have the volume, is what I'm thinking of - but I have no idea what items it would go with. I don't like the idea of wearing it with a white blouse underneath, as the colours would look slightly off in my opinion.
Here is the fabric in question:
Instead of a white blouse underneath, I was toying with the idea of creating an almost-opaque black chiffon blouse, from the Great British Sewing Bee pussy-bow blouse pattern. It would have a slightly 50s feel to it, as the book suggests, but I'm not quite sure if it would be fitting for Lolita. What do you guys think? (I'm also going to make it in a deep purple chiffon, for vintage trends :))
