Hello everyone! This is my first time posting to LiveJournal and I'm really excited to be a part of the Sew_Loli community. A little info about myself is I'm a high school student, love anime and Japanese culture, my favorite brand is Baby, the Stars Shine Bright, and after school, I plan on majoring in fashion design.

This is great! So adorable. Did you use a pattern for the skirt?

Hi and thank you so much! I'm so happy right now:). I didn't use a pattern for the skirt. Instead, I just took three yards of fabric and gathered it to fit my 27 inch waist for a basic gathered skirt. For the waist band, I folded over 4 inch wide fabric that was my waist circumference in length plus seam allowance. The bottom ruffles are about 5 inches wide and 6 yards long (I hate them so much-_-). If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

What a cute cherry coord! The pattern is so cute and the bow on the back of the skirt is a nice touch! Did you also make the blouse in addition to the skirt, blouse, and rosette?

Unfortunately, I was too scared to make a blouse, so I found one at my thrift store and altered it by adding a black bow, cutting out the sleeves, making a gathered sleeve from extra fabric I had, took in the side seams, clipped the edges of the collar and added eyelet lace to fit the Lolita aesthetic, and because the blouse already had a bib-like front, I took in the ruffles by using tucks. With my next coord, I'm just going to make the blouse since altering this one was almost like making it from scratch!

That is some nice detail work on the blouse! I like the fabric you used for the skirt too, and the ribbon matches perfectly!
