I've been on the phone with various members of my family for most of the day. Trying to coordinate travel plans seems destined to fail, and of course everyone has their own "special" way to get from Lawrence to DC. I heard from John - he's getting the train down from NYMA. Providing they don't withhold his weekend pass.

There's a conference there at the beginning of December, and my paper was accepted. And since I'm not pregnant, I can go!

Well, he's only six weeks, and he was about four weeks premature, so he's pretty much the normal size for his age. Personally I'm glad he wasn't bigger. Try to put a watermelon up your ass and you might get an idea of what I mean.

But thanks for babysitting! Bobby said you were a natural.

Ahh. You're welcome. A natural? I don't think so. But I didn't drop him so points for me. That was my biggest fear with the whole thing. Plus, there were four of us. We managed more then okay.

Jewelery! I mean, not with actual jewels, but you just get, like, um, wire and beads! And you put the beads on the wire! And then you have stuff!
