Weekend of the NERO

Nov 22, 2010 13:07

Had a good event for the most part. Had a moment where I thought that my character would finally snap and go on a killing spree of the avaliable nobles, but it did not come to pass. Basically it was IG frustration building up and building up due to rampant ignorance abounding. The rituals we needed to cast in order for everyone to get home ended up ( Read more... )

well, you didn't tell me... and since I missed half the event, I spent alot of time trying to figure out what was going on. I know Ahnatar/Brian felt the same way. :P

It acutally wasn't very obvious (considering we were more concerned with how we were going to get home) and I didn't figure it out until late saturday night when Ahnatar was asking me questions about how we got there Friday night. When you showed up I did tell you everything I knew up til that point, it's just he didn't ask me until way later. So I told him and I think he wrote it down (he was taking notes anyways) so I hope, hope, hope he tells the rest of you. Where Nihaalan's a book that can repeat everything she learned at the drop of a hat, Rina can only remember specific things if she's only specifically asked. Which baffles me completely and not anything I ever planned lol.

Yes, Ahnatar heard, remembered, and has relayed it to the people in a position to do something about it. I may even put in a BGA to make sure it happens.

He's trying to keep good notes, he is, and stay on top of things, but it's tough when everyone is feeding you bits and pieces of information from a dozen or so different perspectives -- often contradicting one another -- and usually all at the same time. He's never going to be able to fill the shoes of Team Mongoose, but I like to think he's learned *something* from them. :P

Yay! After talking to you I got far too distracted with that ritual to even think about it again and as a result it went *whoosh* out of Rina's head. I was hoping that's what your notebook was for :)

I've also (as Rina mind you) have multiple times, gone up to people and told them what was going on til I was blue in the face, only to have them either completely ignore me or brush me off. I then have to go to the people that will listen to me, tell them, and then have them tell other people in order for others to actually pay attention. It's something she's gotten rather annoyed/frustrated with over the years so she's gotten to the point of telling people once and then sitting and waiting for nothing to come of it and then going "told you so" when she turns out right.

Can't wait til I get my briefing. And I promise I will be there as Eranfel from now on. There where SEVERAL times I wished I could have swapped out who I was playing.

Also i wish that Dreadmark would have kept the SGA "non-local but spend a lot of time here" nobles board

You might suggest that to them, if you haven't already. It may have just simply gotten lost in the shuffle.

Oh you're going to get a briefing. Though it'll probably seem more like a rant ^.^

Gypsies did not Organize that ritual by themselves! I distinctly remember organizing a protection crew for you guys ;-)

And yes, I remember why were were side-tracked. But I am not a noble and have no super-secret board to post to... maybe I should just post my notes to the public board where everyone can read them...
