Further progress on the uniform
Today I patterned, fit, and assembled the body of the square-rig jersey (aka sailor's middy top) .
No pics of it yet, I'm afraid. Maybe after the sleeves and collar are on it.
So far, I'm on schedule to finish and get the house tidied before the trip. -
My hat's in the ring, as well.

My Olympic Start
I got started on my Olympic challenge last night. I'm going for the UFO Decathlon challenge, though digging out the UFOs has proved tough. On some, assembling the different pieces has been tough. But I figure, part of the UFO challenge is organizing and making strategic decisions. For some projects--it might mean just letting them go ( Read more... ) -
Progress on my "event"
Today I got the seaman's trousers mostly finished; in particular the fall-front is all assemled.
I should complete them tomorrow and can start patterning the jersey. -

I have a project I'm working on that has to be done by the 24th or earlier.
We're helping throw a Titanic First Class Salo(o)n Party at Gallifrey One on Feb 26th. I'm building both a costume and a prop piece for the party, ( Read more... )
