a sun above the clouds?

I just walked home alone in the freezing cold from work. There were tons on sirens going off and it is a really dark night. it was kind of eerie.
lately i feel very pesimistic about a lot of things.
i decided that the world is an unhappy place and that people are generally bad.
it kinda sucks when you think about it.
