(no subject)
Holiday was good on the whole. Went to Sicily for the day on Sunday. Also did a trip in a glass bottomed boat and saw lots of fishies, sea grass and a few wrecks.
Hotel was a bit crap - we had a cockroach in our room on the first night. I killed it with a flip flop, and we left the body there for the cleaners who didn't move it at all. Cue waking up on Saturday morning to find the body of the cockroach gone, neither my mum nor I having touched it. This was then followed by finding a further 2 in the bathroom at about 3am Sunday morning, which were duly killed and flushed down the loo. Food was nothing special either. It was a buffet breakfast and dinner, though you never knew precisely what you were eating at dinner as they never put labels on anything.
