Ugh Religion sucks...

I feel your pain... Dan and I will be in the middle of family conflict if and when we do decide to get married.

I do believe in a higher power, but I was baptised as an Anglican - Dan's the same way but he was raised a die hard Catholic.

We could both care less about what religion we chose to have when we marry. It's not important to us.
But both families will still be up in arms when we make the decision.

Hope you feel better :-)

Hmm. Thats not even cool.
Scooty and I are both the same religion and I'm sure that I've told you already what he had to say about us not getting married in a church. I'd rather not...But I'm pretty sure that I am just going to have to deal.
...=\

It's supposed to be YOUR day. I think you should be able to do whatever you want, but that just isn't the way things work nowadays...everyones got an opinion. Bleh...stupid people.

this isn't so much about the actual marriage, but what she said about me as a person.

If she doesn't wanna see us get married then she can stay home.

i just don't dig getting told that i'm a worthless person, who is a sinner/devilworshipper.

she's a crazy old lady

Yikes!!!!!
That is rough stuff....the grandmother's just overly old fashioned and very faithful to what she believes in and assumed that Jeremy would follow in their family foot steps I guess.
But change is good. Remember that.
Tim and I aren't getting married in a church....I'm Roman Catholic (due to my operations as a kid) and Tim's something different....but it'll be fine. We're doin' Justice of Peace....what about you?
