playing a sport in college is hard. people can give me and my team all the shit they want about how we're club and therefore because we dont have to go to practice to keep a scholarship we arent any good. screw that, my team and i have worked our asses off from 8-11 monday thru thursday, then we leave friday before 3 and get back sunday after 10. i ( Read more... )

you rock, and don't take no shit about your sport. some collegiate athletes know that you work your asses off, even if you're "just a club". hell, bob's just on the ultimate club team, but i know he spent all summer and fall so far working on improving so that they can do well this year. i know you work your ass off, and you finally got a sport where you're good, and you don't break your shin! good luck at big tens, kick some ass. this will be the only time i'll root for michigan state, so don't let me down :)

i'm excited for your team and how well you are doing. that is so great!
it can be frustrating to be working your tail off at something other people don't take seriously, though. example, you ask? you're lucky i just happen to have one handy...
nobody think my school is a real school, or credible because it's so small. it's very frustrating because i'm working my tail off in a good program for teacher education and i feel like everybody thinks i'm not taking real classes and stuff. i eat, sleep, and breathe schoolwork and running. that's my life.
so yeah, i can relate on that level.
so enough of my ramblings....
i have some life to live

yeah i feel that, even msu gets looked down on by a lot of people, though im sure its 100000000000 times worse for you
