::ATTENTION EVERYONE ON MY FRIENDS LIST!::

I have vague feelings of resentment that my next Grand Update has to be about someone other than myself, but I just had to let you all know that there's a potential predator out there calling himself dark_asylum.

And he's coming to an LJ near you! :O

DA had added me a few weeks back as well - apparently, there is a history between him and another person on my friend list. I initially didn't think much of it him adding me, until I started getting weird and obnoxious comments on my entries; then I was warned about him and promptly deleted him and blocked his various other usernames from the list and set my comments to "friends only".

Sorry, if I had known he had befriended you, I would have given you a heads-up.

So, how do you lock someone out? Can you make it so that they can't add you as a friend?

Just make your journal Friends Only and delete whoever you want off your friends list. That effectively locks them out. :)

Hey,

I have a few 'Darks' on my Flist, but they're all nice and (reasonably) sane... saner than me, probably *g*.

Methinks my Gratuitous Arthropod Posts might have scared him off :pets the arthropods:

Naked Crazies are much better than regular crazies. At least you get eye candy/frenzied sex *g*

I have also been told by several VERY reliable people that dark_asylum has journals under the following names as well:

endxsong
grail_message
sacred_domain

Just be sure to look for those as well.

Wow. That's pretty nuts indeed. Some people just still find ways to shock me! What is so important about being popular to the point you have to get psycho over it? I never understood it...I just really never did. I'm glad you found out and cleared it all up :D He was definitely an idiot! :)

I've had these things happen to me before (unfortunately) which is why I just made my journal private. It's a lot easier to spot the creeps when you don't have yourself in general population, ya know?
