The problem with Livejournal is that it fosters an artificial sense of intimacy even when we know so little. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. My mother asked me that same question the last time she was up here, and I had to think about it for a minute.

It's Sarah's fault. She and Kevin are friends from a while back - her mom and his dad dated briefly (they were both divorced and met in Fayettville). Kev and Sarah stayed in touch.

Sarah invited Kevin to come visit during his spring break while we were living in the house on Morton street. I was student teaching at the time. I remember thinking (and commented to Sarah after Kev left) "I'd tap that." He was cute and nerdy, but still a little hung up on his last girlfriend, which had ended somewhat recently.

We talked via AIM a while, and got together in various social occasions - helping Kristine move, my graduation party, etc.

Not an amazingly exciting story, but ours. No where near as good as our engagement story ;)
