what a wonderful continuation of the previous part! I greatly enjoyed this chapter.
the pacing (and the way this part ended) will certainly keep your readers coming back.
and so much tension! Kahlan is kinda mysterious in this - because she behaves differently whenever she's around people or alone with Cara.
but what a way to go! Cara kissing Leo - to make Kahlan jealous? and what about Dahlia - jealous much?

Since I chose to write it all exclusively from Cara's POV, Kahlan's intentions and actions are a bit more of a mystery, it's true. One of the things I find really interesting about Kahlan on the show is how she has her public Mother Confessor face and her everyday Kahlan face, and even outside of the obvious example like Torn, they DON'T always align or even say the same things moment to moment. I figure that once you add in teenage hormones, that's only amplified.

Though she's certainly spending a lot of time running around, marking her territory every which way but Kahlan.
