Wills and Won'ts

At the end of my previous entry, I said I was thinking on typing up a list of things I won't miss about Germany. Sounds awfully negative. I'm still going to do that, but I'm going to intersperse it with things I will miss. Man, if you think German is bad, try learning a Slavic language like Polish. I took German in college and it wasn't too bad, but I can NOT get my tongue around some of these Polish words my husband pronounces for me. Eeeeuuuuggg, why? Whyyyyy?

I whizzed through French in high school. Aced my final exam with 100%. I fucking LOVED that class. I guess I just had a really good teacher. Teaching myself German has been an epic failure.

Living in the colder areas of the States and then moving to Canada, A/C is definitely a hit or miss thing. Some places have it. Some places expect you to provide it. Some rental places charge you extra for getting your own A/C unit ( ... )

My bedroom is on the third floor, and we don't have a basement, so yeah, it's pretty miserable up there when the thick of Summer hits. I love our heater because the pipes run through the second floor hallway and heat the floor. It's pretty nice. :)
