Well what was he supposed to do? You told him to do it, he didn't want to , if he didn't post anything you'd think he was being remiss in ansering your order, in reality he's saved you the trouble of giving him a reprimand for disobeying a direct order.

If he didn't want to do it, he didn't have to say anything and I wouldn't care. By me saying "Do it" I am saying Do it if you want to. Not you have to do it. Its not like I really care if you all do it for me, I think its just interesting to see people's opinions of me. Not like I would directly seek him out and yell at him for not doing it.
