I know that this will make both of you feel bad but there is only one thing to do. You have to tell him the truth. Tell him that you really care about him but you feel like you need to be with someone who is closer to your own age. He may or may not understand but you cannot stay with him out of pity. Nothing you say can make him feel worse that if he found out that you were staying with him when you didnt want to.

I agree with Karah. I had a situation very much like this. What finally did it for me was thinking about how my indecisiveness would affect both of us in the long run...
