Honey, you're far from alone. I can't tell you how many times I've caught my mom crying while watching Good Morning America or World News Tonight. We're not even religious people anymore (ever since last year when we found out that my dad who was a Rabbi cheated on my mom for 20+ years and left us with nothing) and we don't know anyone in Israel except for 2 boys that we hosted 2 summers ago. It's sad that people have thrown away their values. I'm worried what the world will be like when I have kids.
I'm nervous too. Ths has been stressing me out since it began, and I don't even have family (that I know of) in Israel.
I personally feel as though any statement about the conflict that's extreame one way or another to be pretty ignorant, because Israel/Palestine/The Middle East/this war is not such a black & white issue, ya know? There's so much to take into consideration.
