Because I recently began worshiping at the altar of Michael Ealy's face, I fell in love with a little series called Common Law. (Warren Kole's face is rather adorable, too!) Tommi, your feedback is always so marvelously detailed and helpful! #16-18 are the ones I feel really excited about cuz they look very different from anything I've ever made. Most of the credit goes to deny1984 and her gorgeous textures though! #39-41 are ones where I was really shaky on the coloring at first, but then I started filling in the shadows, and I'm very pleased with the results. It's wonderful to hear that you enjoy them, too! I've used that texture in #34 so many times now, and it never gets old. I think it always gives a fresh spin to any image! I literally gasped out loud when I saw Common Law. COMMON LAW! Crossing my fingers SO HARD it gets renewed for season 2.

these are gorg. The coloring kind of covers the whole spectrum, lol. The way you've placed them together, it kind of naturally makes some of them stand out, since you've got like ones with kind of toned down colors framing ones with more vibrant shades. So I don't know if that's why I like these, but my faves are 2, 19, 24, 28, & 33.

Moira, it's such a fun show! I'm really crossing my fingers for S2 as well. Wes and Travis have the cutest brother/enemy relationship, and you can tell Warren and Michael really enjoy playing off one another! :D

More and more often, I'm noticing that my colors run the gamut from very vibrant to rather light or faded, and it's been fun trying to achieve all sorts of hues. I can still recall the days when yellow was all I ever seemed to pull out, but that's long over, thankfully! Coloring-wise, I'm extra proud of #28 cuz of the light and brightness. That's one of my faves here, and it's very gratifying to see that you noticed it!

Aren't the subjects just so adorable and cute together? I love Wes and Trav, and I truly hope USA is smart enough to renew the show.

Considering that USA seems to have renewed all their other shows already but not Common Law, I sadly doubt there'll be a second season. I don't know why nobody tried this awesome series. It's really fun, and I'm sad thinking that we won't see anymore of Wes and Trav next year! :(

Exuberance is a great quality, IMO, especially in these dark LJ times when it seems so many people have fled this site. Keep it up, my dear!

Great icons. Michael Ealy is so hot. I've been meaning to watch this show but never got around to it. I like the coloring on these.

Michael Ealy's face is just outta control. I didn't see the big deal for so many years, and then when he was on The Good Wife in 2011, I finally understood all the fuss! You should really give Common Law a try cuz it's very fun and the chemistry between Michael and Warren Kole is awesome and perfect! Thanks so much for the comment, Steph! :D
