New horse in the stable!!
well... sort of.
Pop went up to reno yesterday with the intentions of buying a new motorcycle:
A 1969 Triumph T100C, or Trophy 500. Now, I understand the pictures don't look like much but the bike is very very complete. As for major parts needed, it requires a new headlight assembly and a right side cover. Other than that and a few odds and ends (turn signals etc.) It's all there.
A complete teardown and reassembly is in order here. It's going down to the frame, repainted and and rebuilt, cleaned, re-chromed etc. The engine will also be completely rebuilt with new rings and pistons (and any other items it will need).
Also, we're going to put more streetable tires on it.
Hopefully we can get that 350 repaired soon, that would leave this as a winter project. I'll keep everyone posted about this.
