There are some rules, depending on the shape of the fingers and nails, which you must count on if you want perfect hands.
The nail polish can correct excellently little “drawbacks”, but it can be rough enemy, if you don’t use the proper one. The shape of fingers and nails are always revealed by the nail polish you’re using.
1. If you have short, thick fingers, with lightly definite shape, with broad palms and with square-shaped nails, the best choice for you is French manicure.
This way you will let the lunula (is half-moon-shaped whitish area from the base of the nail) as natural as possible. And if you don’t praise it, neither your nails won’t look that broad.
Don’t ever use light colored nail polishes, with pearly texture and avoid applying rhinestones or trifles which calls attention to the shape of your nails. The proper accessories are simple rings, with a simple central gem, or with small, discreet little gems.
2. If your fingers are long, slim, but the nail is made to measure, you’re very lucky! You can use all colors and types of nail polish and as big accessories.
But keep attention to the shape of nails; if they’re lightly bended at the top, they must be well filed, to give them a nice oval shape, as natural as possible.
3.If you have long and slim fingers, but small nails, it’s good for you to use light colored nail polishes and with pearly texture, because they magnify the nail. The proper accessories are rings with a many gems, round or square.
