28 Days Later is pretty scary, but the second half takes a turn and gains this sort-of-cerebral-psychological element that really sucks you in, so you're not (so much) really scared. I think you can handle it. And Let the Right One In is creepy, but sweet, too, in a weird way, so that should also be fine. Alien will probably scare the crap out of you, but I don't know about Audition, since I haven't seen it. I recommend keeping some comedic horror about, like Shaun of the Dead or Fido (Fido is awesome!! I hope you can find it) so you can still have that Halloween-y but fun element!
