Poop & Pee

So I've really been wondering about this... PJ and I have a very strict rule about not peeing or pooping in front of each other. I just thought that was a no-no for most couples. But recently my sister informed me that she poop in front of her husband! I was astonished, so I guess I was just curious as to weather or not PJ and I are the weird ones

I have to comment to say that it has never been a problem with past significant others, but my hubby is more refined and, ya know, British. So no sharing bathrooms as per his wishes, not mine.

yeah, PJ want's nothing to do with it. I'd be okay with the peeing, but not the pooping. He's not okay with either ;-)

My wife and i have no boundaries whatsoever. Except wiping. I think that as long as we maintain all of our faculties, neither of us will ever wipe the other's nether regions. But yeah we pee/poop in front of each other all the time.

I am just so astonished about how different people feel so differently about this. I wonder what doing this or not doing this says about a person. From what I can tell, I am getting a variety of responses. And political beliefs, out going-ness and modesty seem to not weigh in to this.
For example, you are a very free and open person, so it doesn't surprise me that you are a "in front of pooper". But my sister and some other folks who are more reserved by nature also are "in front of poopers"
How do you know who is who in this world!? It's all very distressing ;-)

this is in reference to my ex fiance only! for me it really depends on the intimacy i have with that person, i.e. how in love i am. like with my last boyfriend, i didn't do it, because i wasn't in love with him.

my last bf [who was british!] left the door open when he peed and had no problem if i stood outside talking to him or even int eh bathroom brushing my teeth or showering or whatever. i don't know if he'd have been ok with em just hanging out int he bathroom because i never wanted to try that.
i, on the other hand, am more modest, always close the door, and would rather that be alone time for me. though, being that i'm already sitting down to pee, there's a goodly enough chance i'll also poop as well.

so while i answered pee: why not i guess i really mean i don't mind if my bf does it, but i'm not so inclined.

i am okay with the IDEA of peeing in front of each other under extreme circumstances, but it has as of yet never happened.

Yeeeeaaah, I guess I feel the same I COULD if I HAD to. But I could never poop. I have enough trouble pooping when there is someone else in the house even.
