I'm thinking of omitting Mixolydian from my practice regiment. It's such a bullshit scale. No one ever uses it. No one can argue that it's used over dominant 7 chords. It's not. Say the dominant 7 is the root chord. Everyone still uses Dorian and if they ever play the major 3rd, they just slide up from the minor 3. So, it's still pretty much Dorian
