And if I ever lose myself to you//Like a million others want to do//Someone wake me somebody just help me out//She gonna take me show me what it's all about ~Hyrise
"C'mon Liam, will you relax?" Shade dropped his match on the concrete floor and stepped on it. Drawing his cigarette to his lips he shook his head.
"Like you?" Adam raised a brow at his friend. He was also getting sick of the Liam stuff, now that he had regained his memories of who he had been. But they had been working together for a long time, and Shade had done a lot for him. It almost felt wrong to hear another name coming from him. All the same, Adam felt Shade was being an idiot.
"What do you want? Go out there and start shit? Make a name for yourself? Get yourself killed?"
"No, but I don't want to sit here and do nothing."
"So tell me exactly what you wanna do?"
"I don't know!" Adam threw flames at the wall out of frustration. "I don't like being pent up like this! I happen to remember every moment of being buried alive for all of those years, thank you."
"Aw, really, Shade. You should be more understanding."
Both demons turned and caught sight of a very hot blond walking through the abandoned loft they were laying low in. Two sets of eyes traveled her legs and body slowly.
"Sorry, babe. You are..?"
She laughed. "You have to ask?" She walked closer, her eyes flashing, a wide smile on her lips.
Shade's lip twitched slightly and he stepped back. "We don't want any of what you're offerin'."
"You say that like you have a choice," she said.
Adam looked between them uncertainly. Shade stepped back more. "Don't you have a world to be burnin' down, Lilith?" This made Adam's head tilt more as he listened.
"I always did find you a huge disappointment, Shade. Everything that you have inside of yourself that you won't even let out..." She stepped closer to him, a finger trailing down his chest. "Mmmm, you could be delicious."
"Plannin' on havin' me for dinner?" Shade smirked.
"No. Not quite." Without hesitation or blinking, she sent thick charges right into his chest and Shade fell to the ground. She looked down with a little pout. "Pity."
"Shade!" Adam jumped forward, but Lilith held a hand to his chest.
"Hold on there, cowboy." Her hand slowly took its time to feel the curves of his muscles and she smiled.
Adam's breath was deep and heavy in his chest as he watched down at Shade in concern. "But-"
"He's fine," she said, moving herself closer to Adam. "He's not waking up anytime soon, but he's fine."
"Fix it," Adam said sharply, his eyes glaring down to hers.
"Not so fast. First...I need a little something in return."
"No." He gave her a light shove, but she was stronger and pushed back against him. He looked past her towards Shade again, but the body was gone. Confusion painted his face, but slowly paled at what his own body was feeling. Lilith was pressed flush against him and his eyes closed slowly. The hiding out had meant it had been a long time since he'd had a woman that close. He could feel her fingers creeping up his shirt and against his skin.
"I just need a little help. Isn't this what you've been wanting? Something to do?"
"Why should I help you?" His question came out a bit breathlessly as his body reacted to her touch.
"Because. If you don't, Shade dies and the next person to come through that door will be a hunter. Poor thing will be under the impression you've been killing off pretty, young, defenseless girls. Won't hesitate in getting rid of you."
Adam growled softly, more at the threats than the feelings she was giving him. "What do you want from me?"
She took his hand, large in her own, and placed it against her hip. "I want you to..take care of some things." Her hand brushed the back of his neck, pulling his head down closer. Her lips brushed his neck and tugged at his ear. "I want you to take care of me," she murmured. Her leg pushed between his. "If you're...up for it."
His breath was ragged and his hand was roaming her body. "And aside from you...what is it you want me to do?"
"Nothing too difficult. Talk to a pretty girl I know. Maybe get her to be your friend. Trust you." Her lips were now nipping at his, causing his thoughts to blur.
"Why?" He whispered, kissing her softly. Any thoughts telling him to take a step back and think about the entire situation were drowned out. Aside from being turned on, there was a power he could feel from being this close to her. A power that made his blood warmer, made his heart feel stronger.
"She's straying," Lilith pouted slightly. "She just needs a little reminder that she's safe with me. With us."
"How.." another groan, this time just from the pleasure he was feeling. "How should I do that?"
"Anyway possible," she whispered, pushing him back against the wall. "Like I said...she's very pretty. I almost want her for myself."
Adam melted back into the wall. There wasn't a single thought in his head at that point. "Mmmm," he murmured.
"Is that a yes?"
"Yes," he whispered. "Just take me."
"Uh-uh." Her hand started to move away from where it had started undoing his belt. "Look at me, Adam."
His eyes opened, flashing pure heat at her. His hands around her waist were pulling her tight against himself as his hips pushed into hers. "Yes," he said thickly. "I'll do it."
"Mmmm, good," she murmured. She leaned in again and kissed him slowly.
Adam started to kiss her back and move his hands to find skin, but before his fingers could get there he felt space shifting around him. The next moment that he opened his eyes he found himself somewhere completely different. Almost...a holding cell. Like he hadn't seen enough of those in his lifetimes.
His heart was still racing and his body still...attune to Lilith's. He pressed back against the wall where he sat and looked around. A pretty blond girl was across from him and she looked just as shocked that he was there as he was.
"Who are you?" She asked, her eyes wide.
"Adam," he said softly, feeling a bit lost. He rubbed his eyes and looked around some more, trying to get his body to relax. "Where are we? Who are you?"
"Wherever we are, we aren't leaving anytime soon," she sighed. "And I'm Ruby."
