awww babe, you better feel better. i can't have my favoritest person MIA. but i know what you mean on the topic of religion. i've been rasied on going to church every sunday, going to a catholic school and having it every thursday. however, being forced to go made me hate it. and i've fallen out of it. but i do miss it. i miss being able to believe in something. that's really the point of religion. cuz how fun is going through life and not believing no matter what you do, you will be loved and accepted. believing gives you something to you feel you're never alone. however, some people don't need that and others do. there's always that part of me that wants to start going to church and i want to start believing, and i'm sure at one point or another, i will pick it back up again. if you want to see if it's for you but not jump right in to church every sunday, try youth group on wed. you can talk to people and the nice thing is it's not so focused on church and blah blah. and you can see lots of people you're friends with and make new
( ... )
I think that's probably a good idea, to go and have you join me. Sean offered me to go with him on Sunday's to his Catholic church...but it's him, Brianne, her parents, Kevin, his parents and siblings, Matt Carlton, and Michael Finch(haha). So yeah I would definitely feel awkward because I wouldn't know what to do. I won't make it out of the house tonight to go to youth group, seeing as how I passed out around 10:30 last night and just now woke up, and I can barely move. But maybe next Wednesday I'll go. If you're not working, would you want to go with me? Then if I'm comfortable with it after that, maybe we can go to church next Sunday morning. I'm more comfortable around you than anyone else, so I know I wouldn't feel as awkward being there if you were with me. Thank you so much! *love*
I've gone through religion, Catholic school etc. Like Jenna said, not everyone needs it but basically it is nice to have something to believe in. Eh, It's tough to write down my thoughts on religion because I usually dont try and offend anyone about it. If you ever wanna talk about it *picks up phone*
kati, you could definitly come to church with us or even just to youth group. you don't have to feel akward and if you do just do what sean does. he felt weird too when he started going (it was sorta cute.) but i think you would really enjoy youth group at least, you should try and come to that first. if you're feeling werid about starting the religion thing, talk to sean i know he's been there...or me. =) love ya. <3bri
I know I'd probably like youth group a lot, but I'd feel awkward in more ways than one. *coughKEVINcough* I think I need to be more comfortable with it, then I can definitely consider going with you guys. I just don't want it to be really weird, seeing as how things kind of just ended and I'd have to see him.
true, well whenever the whole look-at-me-i'm-a-stupid-loser-named-kevin mess gets sorted out i'd love for you to come and i'm sure i can speak for sean and say that he would be so stiked if you did. =)
yeah... went to a catholic school for most of my scholorly life.. not much into the whole religion thing.. and yet i attend youth ever wed.. *sigh* the irony of life. lol
