Haha! That sounds like my sister's graduation. They had the former Madame Secretary as their speaker, and most of the people in the audience were republicans.

Except not....our class is about half and half, susan, the conservatives just dont see the need to bitch and moan as much as the liberals do, so they're discounted as being a smaller part of the pie....yet we proved that wrong last november, didnt we now?

oh, and so you know, I'm not being totally serious. I just like to have a little fun every once in a while, and frankly, republicans offer the perfect bait. :)

thanx kk, i definitly agree with u. steve, its the way u say it that makes u an ass. if u want to prove a point that isnt necissarily right, then say it nicely. and when i was saying the 3/4s part, i wasnt talking about the entire fucking country, i was talking about the graduating class.

So was I. If you're basing your division of the senior class on ABlast surveys and your own personal experience, you're far off the mark. You're into drama, and alot of drama kids are liberal. The ABlast surveys are bullshit, not reflective of the political spectrum of 05 at all. My point stands, we're split half and half, just like America. Also, his speech wasn't really all that much about politics. If you'd listened to what he was saying, not just to hear what you expected him to say, then you'd have realized that his speech was about community service and not letting your life slip by without making a mark, not about politics. Open your ears and your mind, not everything has a political slant.

ok except for the fact that like almost every other word was bush this bush that. i mean, i see ur point but 90% of his speech was about bush or 911 and thats not what a graduation speech should be about. it should of been inspirational and insightful and he definitly wasnt.

oh and kk, i dont mind u starting the war first because i would of responded as soon as i saw it but u got to it first. lol

oh man, totally agree with you there Susan! god I got so fucking tired of hearing Bush's name mentioned. damn, that guy really isn't that great, and he sure as hell isn't god.

oh, and steve, I think all of us are being a bit biased in saying how are school is split. but really, if you think about, it's not just our school, but Fairfax County voted Democratic. hmmm... point made
