Ok, thanks to everyone who showed interest in visiting the Grand Canyon with me. After looking into it more I think that the August dates will work best for me cause it's the longest period of time which should in theory give more flexibility. I'm hoping that I can convince the three of you to agree on that time but I understand that we all have

hey jen, well, i stil lreally want to do the whole vacation thing with you guys, but i wish it weren't the 15th up area of august, because thats when gen con is, when either my friends go to gen con or do gen con type things. if we road trip, maybe we could hit up gen con for a day. its where i get my cool wardrobe, so its important to me.

if not, however, and if that is the only time that will work out for everyone, its okay. i can miss gencon one year, though i will have to cry a bit.
new york would be cool, or the grand canyon, or pretty much where ever. keep me posted.

Larry, it looks like August only works for me after all. And I would never want to interrupt your Gen Con enjoyment. New York has already been promised to my mother so that's a no go. Anywhere else you have on your list of places to see? Maybe somewhere closer so we can get a different set of dates to work for us?

oh, well, the grand canyon thing would still be fun. erika's london thing would rock royally, but i don't know if we want to spend that much money. if we are aiming close, we could do mall america or something like that (if jen w. is coming with for some reason i doubt she'd complain about that one.) for really really short trips, a day bumming around chicago (eating local pizza, checking out the museums, the aquarium, etc.) might be fun. if we did want to go the camping route, theres plenty of fun camp areas here in wisconsin land. i don't know. there are some other options. the dells. etc. etc. i'm up for just about anything, given enough warning. hmm...we could even go to mineapolis and visit sarah and joe, if we get all ambitiouse, and if they'd want us to visit them. but yeah. keep me posted. i need a vacation badly.
