I think that one of my major problems in life is that I'm always naturally assuming that people are a lot like me. I assume that just because I am willing to sacrifice for others or the good of the group that other people also have that same thing in mind. You gotta be lookin' out for #1. Which is me. Or in your case, you. You should be more selfish, you're usually not at all. But sometimes, it's warranted.
The only thing that making everyone else happy does is make you unhappy. It's all about balance. End sage advice.

well, right now i'm going on like 4 hours of sleep, so i appologise that this is less then eloquent, but rock on jenny! screw altruisim. yeah, people should care about one another, but no one has a right to take advantage of someone else, and people certainly shouldn't expect to take advantage of others. i hope things get better for you soon.
