I BOOKED MY PLANE TICKET TO LONDON!!!!!!!
I have wanted this trip to Europe SOOO bad for the past 4 years I can't believe it's finally becoming a reality. My original plan was to backpack through Europe, however, I wasn't able to find anyone who was willing to go on a chaotic whirlwind tour of Europe with me. I was thinking about backpacking Europe by myself...but was talked out of it by family and friends who would've been worried sick about me.
So...I'm going to do a Contiki tour! The funny and ironic thing is that I was SO against doing a Contiki tour cuz I felt it was such a cookie-cutter holiday, no flexibility, etc...BUT after looking at some of the itineraries, it's a whole lot easier, I'd be meeting many like-minded travellers of around the same age as me, and it would be a sh*t load of FUN!! I've decided on the 31-day European Contrasts tour which includes:
London, Paris, Calais, Lyon, Fontainebleau, French Riviera, Monaco, Florence, Pisa, Rome, Vatican City, Corfu, Pompeii, Venice, Vienna, Munich, Austrian Tyrol, Swiss Alps, Rhine Valley, Amsterdam...WHEW!
Some places NOT on the list I would love to visit in the future are...Barcelona, Madrid, IBIZA, the Assissi Coast of Italy (Sorrento), Prague, Greek Islands (Ios, Mykonos, Santorini), Interlaken (bungy jump!!), Geneva.
Hopefully, Jer and I can take time off in the future to cover the rest of Europe. So little time...so many places to see!! I'm SO excited!!! I've arranged it so I have a few extra days in London after the tour so if anyone is gonna be there and wants to hang out...lemme know!!!
