Yes, he was getting support together for a floating classroom. A member of the board of trustees was going to donate a sailboat, to be docked at Jack London Square. It would be an educational center staffed by volunteers from the college. It would also be used to take students out to the Farallons to study marine biology. He was talking about it years ago, and it was just on the verge of happening. I hope it still does.
