Yes, if you are ever trapped underwater and I have my scuba gear on, I'm your gal. I can't wait to actually go out and dive and just do the fun part. I love the fun part.

To me it is awesome and inspiring that you went to Hawaii and got to snorkel for two days and practiced some scuba skills.

I've been considering doing the scuba retreat for years but concerns about whether I would be allowed to scuba dive, given my health conditions, have prevented me.

I'm pretty sure I should at least go back to Hawaii someday soon and snorkel.

Definitely. I have lots of health issues, but the guys at the dive shop were unconcerned. They asked questions, I was honest about the answers. Then they suited me up and let me go. Most of my conditions are controlled with medication and exercise. I even have asthma, and I just let my dive instructor know where the inhalers were.

I went with Ocean Legends in Oahu. They were the best. I loved Ryan, and he was great.

Hawaii sounds gorgeous. Scuba diving, what a brave and demanding skill to start learning! The fact that you've begun and will end the day in a spa with a mai tai sounds like a win-win situation to me...
blessings,
Oli

We ended the day having a big family dinner with friends, family and our dive instructor/new pal. Lots of love. And of course, survival. That's always good.
