calculating your due datelittiewingMay 17 2007, 21:05:31 UTC
take the date of the first day of your last period(LMP). take away three months. now add seven days. remember if that makes the number larger than the number of days in the month to go to the next month. for example, if your last period started march 26, you would back up three months to december. if you add seven days to 26, you have 33. there are only thirty one days in december, so your due date(DOC) would be jan 2.
with this info, are you better able to calculate your due date? according to what you typed in this previous comment, your last period started anytime from march 18-march 30.
if you don't know the date of your last period then the doc will have an ultrasound done to determine your due date. you can not tell the gender of the baby until you are 20 weeks pregnant so you may not be able to tell when that ultrasound is done.
(and in case the name isn't familiar, i'm tracie from the here and now room)

We figured my period started the first week of April. I went to my obgyn appointment today and he says Jan 9. So that's the one I'm sticking with.
