Okies, time for an update methinks.
Things to say:
Cambridge interview is 7th December. I think I need some flashing lights around that. Well they're flashing in my head anyway. Kinda scared, so much to do before then but will be so glad when it's over, then I can just REEELAAX! Well not until after that weekend, I've got training for my Inca ( Read more... )

okay. lots of things to say:
1) have just put date of interview in diary, so I can give lots of interview CHEERS!
2) WTF with the training weekend? what kind of chinese whispers is that?? sounds quite fun though!
3) YAY to job security!
4) mcFly?? they are soooo last year! (maybe 3 years ago, but whatevs) but WHEE to lights being on. Durham lights are crap, chelt is loads better despite it being a town and not a city...
5) computer. I think what you actually need to do is open up the tower case, I think something's come loose in it. not sure whether you'd like to do it, or whether you'd want someone to come look at it, but I'm afraid my magic touch isn't gonna do it this time! sorry babs!
6) I just came back from playing badders! I thought you should know that!
7) I hope you're well and everything's dandy in chelt and it's not too cold!! (it's freezing up here!)
8) don't work too hard!!!

Reply to thing to say mo 4) Yay Chelty is cool! I thought I heard Jo Whiley say today that Chico was turning on the lights in Durham, be that true?!!! And yes it is ironic that Durham is more town size, yet is classed as a city but Chelters is more city sized but classed as a town. Silly cathedral bureaucracy!
5) I will inform the father of your suspicions about the computer, I think he's going to have a look at it.
6) Yay to badders! I played on Sunday, trying to play most weekends.

4) I don't rmb Chico but then again, I was walking back from the station coming back for Quen's and I wasn't paying much attention. I don't think it was, it wasn't very loud and chico would have been LOUD. and silly cathedrall bureaucracy indeed. (as a side note, I don't like the word bureaucracy at the moment, it's cropping up everywhere, mostly in my Algeria reading, but whatever.)
5) Hope computer gets sorted sooonnn!!!
6) I'm hoping to drag scas to come to my place and play badders with me during the hols, I can't think of anyone else, plus she lives close by! (us country bumpkins have to stick together!! :P)

Ohhh good luck with the interview! I'd hang around to cheer you on, but I'll be going on a trip on the 2nd :( And grats on the offers!

Ehhh... the training program sounds... bizarre? Haha.

Damn Cambridge term for finishing so early! I don't suppose anyone will be around will they? So where are you going on your trip?

I'm going to Bangkok and Vietnam (Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City) to visit some firms and economic institutions. Can't quite decide whether it'll be exciting or boring... or a pain, since I'll be leaving immediately after term ends, which leaves very little time for packing.
